Thought for the Day – 22 June 2017
Yesterday, I was planning to have a thought for the day about the Winter Solstice, because that is what June 21st is. The Winter Solstice is the shortest day and longest night of the year. To cut a long story short, I had a series of interruptions that had to be dealt with and a dinner in the evening. By the time all that was done, it was past my bedtime so I decided to go with the flow and accept that there would be no thought for Wednesday 21st June. Not this year, anyway. Bearing all that in mind, my thought for today is:
And it does so with alarming regularity, and like death and taxes it is unavoidable. What defines you, is how you cope with it. If you accept it and deal with it, you are an individual, who will master life and all it throws at you. If you just fold at the first sign of the nasty brown stuff, then I’m afraid you are going to have a tough life.
Good luck at coping, and may all your messes be small ones.
