I hope you all had a fantastic festive season and great holidays if you were able to get away. I went to Mozambique and did some scuba diving.
But, now that the silly season is over, I have to go back to work so here is my first short story of the year. In my Flash Fiction post number 50 (Published 9/10/17), I gave you a story called ‘Close Encounter’ in which eight year old Tony meets one of the fairies at the bottom of his garden. She promises to see him again for each of the next three Saturday mornings. This story, called ‘We Meet Again’, takes place one week later. I hope you enjoy it.
Over the holidays, I had a chance to review my blog and I came to the conclusion that I need to do more with it. I feel that it is too one dimensional so I’m working on some new features and topics. I will restart the serialized novel ‘Forced Removal’ so look out for installment 7. I will also go back to my ‘Thoughts’, with some focus on topics that interest me and are in the news. And I’d like to bring in other things as well. If you have any suggestions, let me know. Any that I think I can do justice to. I will gladly include.
Read all the Flash Fiction stories and “Thoughts for the Day” on Dave’s Blog.
If you have any questions, or suggestions or ideas for topics for Flash Fiction, please email me or send a message via Contact Dave. I’d really like to hear from you. Also I’d like to know what you enjoy reading so that I can make more informed choices about what to write about. The more you feedback to me, the better I will be able to provide the reading experiences you’d like to have.
