Flash Fiction Post 18 – First Guest Story 2

Hi, Everyone,

I’m very excited today. Since I started my Flash Fiction series on this Blog I have been waiting, with bated breath, for someone else to take the plunge and submit a story to the Blog. That day has now arrived. A subscriber to the Blog who goes under the name mac22013, when commenting on my stories, has sent in a story. In celebration of this landmark happening for the Blog and its support for the Flash Fiction Forum, I am today presenting this guest story for your enjoyment. I thought it was a very good story. I found it compelling and I think it captures all the emotions perfectly. The ending is both sad and joyful. I sincerely thank mac22013 for the courage to ‘give it a go’ and hope this story inspires many more contributions. The story is called, The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face.
