Flash Fiction Post 106 – Look Before You Leap

Hi Everyone.

Hope you all had a great Christmas and an even better New Year. I wish you all everything of the best for 2019. I’m just back from a short holiday in Cape Town where I though nothing about writing or posting or anything to do with blogs. Some of you will be back at work already so in your honor I’ve done some work also. Here’s story for this week. It’s my 12 in 12 entry for November 2018 – a business related, present day tale that falls into the pretty difficult category – it had to be only 500 words long. It’s hard to get a whole story into so few words. The ‘prompt’ for this story was ‘Leftovers

The story is called Look Before You Leap. (Appropriate, don’t you think, for someone who suffers from vertigo and goes off for a holiday in the high places of Cape Town.)

Go to the website at 12 in 12 and check it out. Maybe you’ll be inspired to write some stories of your own. It’s a lot of fun.

Read all the Flash Fiction stories, “Messages to Government” and “Thoughts for the Day” on Dave’s Blog or Dave’s Blog Archives.

Remember that you can now sign up to my VIP Readers’ Group on the Dave Macfie Stories fan page on Facebook. Look at the bottom of the menu list under the photo on the top left hand side.

Cheers, Dave
