Flash Fiction Post 102 – If at First You Don’t Succeed

Hi Everyone.

I returned yesterday from a short trip to Cape Town. Now I’m back in Joburg and enjoying (?) load shedding (Isn’t Eskom useless?) and Water shutdowns for maintenance. What fun we have. Today, I sat down to catch up with all the things that stopped while I was away. My story for this week, is my 12 in 12 entry for September 2018. It’s a futuristic fantasy that had to be 1250 words long. The ‘prompt’ for this story was simply ‘Delete‘. Give it a try!

The story is called If at First You Don’t Succeed.

Go to the website at 12 in 12 and check it out. Maybe you’ll be inspired to write some stories of your own. It’s a lot of fun.

Read all the Flash Fiction stories, “Messages to Government” and “Thoughts for the Day” on Dave’s Blog or Dave’s Blog Archives.

Remember that you can now sign up to my VIP Readers’ Group on the Dave Macfie Stories fan page on Facebook. Look at the bottom of the menu list under the photo on the top left hand side.

Cheers, Dave
