Flash Fiction Post 10

Howzit everyone,

I was working on my new book series today and got wrapped up in it so this post is a bit later than usual – sorry for that.

But one of the things that I’ve learnt since I started trying to be an author is that I have to be able to multi-task. And don’t say I’m the wrong gender for that. I’m really good at multi-tasking as long as I take one of the many tasks at a time. The other thing I’ve learnt is that I must focus on the things that make a difference to this new business venture because, make no bones about it, this authoring really is a business. After all I’m creating a product and trying to sell it. And the things that make a difference are clearly creating a good product that some people want to buy then finding those people and building a mutually beneficial relationship with them. My part of the deal is to write stuff they enjoy and their part is to buy it when I do.

This Flash Fiction is part of that. I thought it was a fun idea when it was introduced to me so I thought that it might also be fun for you. I must say that I’m finding it challenging. Not only coming up with different ideas but also getting them down on paper in a small enough number of words. So on that note here is my third story called Love…..

To read it click here and don’t forget to add a comment to tell me what you thought of it. Also give a try to writing your own stories, I think you’ll enjoy it.

Cheers, Dave
